Cosmos

As for the cosmos painting here, it is 7 by 7.5 inches on 140# CP watercolor paper. I felt really crappy after completing this painting. It seems everything that can go wrong has gone wrong with this painting. The background is still my weakness and it fails to match with the cosmos. I need more practise.

As I digress, it is interesting to note this change in my life. I never used to paint or draw so regularly. It was only a couple of weeks back I discovered that I could draw portrait of someone with some semblance to him/her. Also interesting is the fact that this experience come at a not-so-exciting and somewhat depressing stage in my life. As the cliched saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens.
