I’m really drawn to the bottom painting, Raji. I feel like I could touch those two leaves on the right half of the composition.

After reading your comment I looked at the picture with a “new” eye. Those two leaves do come forward to the viewer. You got a good eye for details. BTW, I have bought the Arches. I am yet to use it. Will let you know.

I am in California for a few weeks and noticing the great exotic plants and flowers that can grow here, as opposed my cold and wintery home in Indiana…I have decided to attempt to paint some of these beautiful flowers and plants that adorn my sister’s backyard, your images make for good incentive, as this is not my forte…. I like what you are doing here.

Down here in Texas, we can see exotic plants like firecrackers and shrimp plants but they cannot survive the winters. If you make frequent trips to botanical gardens, you can find them. But the problem is I dont visit them often. I usually look out for such flowers in my neighborhood. Canna seems to be popular here nowadays. Look forward to your floral paintings Tracie!
