About
I have been drawing and painting occasionally for as long as I can remember. I have never been formally trained in painting or drawing. I remember painting with oil colors using water to thin the paint! It was only years later while watching oil painting programs in a local television channel, did I know -much to my chagrin – that turpentine was the appropriate solution to thin paints. No wonder I struggled with oil paints then. A semester of watercolor painting class for my art requirement hooked me to watercolor. A semester of introductory drawing helped me learn to draw in a perspective sense. Occasionally, I pick up acrylics, graphites and colored pencils. But I find that my passion for watercolors is much greater. I feel I need to learn a lot from watercolors itself. So this is an ongoing journey to learn all the nuances of watercolor paintings and colors.
