Ballerina Figure Study, No.7
In graphite on 11 by 14 inches Bristol Vellum.
Drawing the fingers and the head was a bit challenging. Took me several tries to get it right.
Ballerina Figure Study, No. 6
I am quite happy with this ballerina figure study. I was a bit unsure of how the tulle will come out as; but as I drew it out, it came out just fine. Drawing the head was a bit challenging because of it the angle; but after several tries , it worked out. The Bristol Vellum surface is quite forgiving. We can edit as much as we want.

Gymnast Figure Study, No.5
I drew this after a friend suggested that I can also draw a gymnast as a figure study. I am really happy with how it turned out to be. It was Nastia Liukin in the reference image but I couldn’t bring any semblance to my renderings but that is okay.

Ballerina Figure Study, No.4
Just realized that ballerinas can make good figure studies.Doing nude figure studies is sort of unnerving; not because I don’t like it but it can make room for misunderstandings. Moreover, it is my first time and I am still not comfortable yet.
Figure Study, No.3
Another figure study. This time a male. I am quite happy with the figure drawing but I still haven’t aced the face resemblance. I can overlook that detail; after all this is a figure study.
